meet your professor

Associate Professor Pema Düddul

From January 2015 to December 2022 Associate Professor Pema Düddul was the program coordinator and team leader of the editing and publishing discipline at the University of Southern Queensland. Pema was responsible for the management and oversight of three degrees, the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and the Master of Editing and Publishing. For 8 years, until the end of 2022, Pema taught creative writing, editing and publishing in the School of Creative Arts at the University of Southern Queensland. Before that Pema taught Creative Writing and Cultural Studies at Southern Cross University for 7 years. Pema also has three decades experience in all aspects of editing and publishing, including commissioning new works, developmental editing, copyediting, proofreading, author liaison and book project management. Pema was awarded a PhD in the discipline of Written Communication from Griffith UniversityinOctober 2012, and has a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from Swinburne University. Pema is also a published author with more than 60 works in print, from journal articles and research papers, to books and stage plays.
